Our acoustic panels fix directly to a flat wall using screws (our preferred method — hidden between slats) or construction adhesive. The felt backing is scored for easy cutting with a sharp Stanley knife. Detailed installation PDF is posted with every order, or download from our brochure page.
Yes — this is their core advantage. Provided tiles are sound and flat, a solvent-free grab adhesive is all you need. No need to strip out, no dust, no skip. Our 10mm PVC panels tongue-and-groove together and seal at top, bottom and corners with matching trims.
For acoustic: a spirit level, drill/driver, tape measure and a fine-tooth saw. For PVC: spirit level, tape measure, grab adhesive gun, sharp Stanley knife, and a fine-tooth saw for trimming lengths. Neither range requires specialist trades.
Acoustic panels are tested to Class B-s1,d0 per EN 13501-1:2018 — suitable for most commercial and residential applications. PVC panels are Class C-s3,d0. Certification documents are available on request for all specifiers.
NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) measures how much sound a surface absorbs — 0 means all reflected, 1 means all absorbed. Our acoustic range sits between 0.75 and 0.90. For most living rooms, 0.75 on one feature wall makes a noticeable difference; for open-plan offices or meeting rooms, aim for 0.85+ across two adjacent surfaces.
Acoustic: real oak veneer is FSC-certified, and the felt backing is 100% recycled PET (drink bottles). PVC: 100% recyclable at end of life, CE marked, phthalate-free and RoHS compliant. Certifications available on request.

Dust with a soft brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner. For marks on the veneer, wipe gently with a barely-damp cloth. Avoid soaking the felt backing or using household cleaners — the veneer doesn’t need them.
Yes. Chirpi PVC panels are rated for 100% wet environments including steam rooms, wet rooms and pool enclosures. They will outlast tile grout by a decade or more with no maintenance.
